Biggest Little City in the World (Reno)

On our way to Sacramento, we stopped in Reno to rest and see where Casey spent his elementary school years. We had a lot of fun and I got some good pictures. It was fun to see all the places that went along with the childhood stories too : )

Springtime in Provo

Once the snow is gone, Provo brightens up with tulips and budding trees. Charity and I took a walk on campus on Sunday and took pictures of the beautiful flowers. I love flowers and spring and just had to share them with everyone : )

Along with soccer, Casey recruited players and put together an awesome 9-on-9 football team. They were really intense and started practicing 2 months before the season even started, drew up plays, and "Coach" Casey had meetings before each game with his team captains. It was really amusing to sit and listen to them talk about the games : ) They lost their very first game after losing confidence when Josh Dalton (their running back) got hurt, but they didn't let it get to them and finished the season off strong. After their first loss, a few injuries, and some other mishaps, two more teams forfeited, and they won every game after that, including the championship game. Casey won two Intramural Championships in a matter of four days, which is one more than Jason who has played in twice as many intramural seasons (Casey wanted me to add that : ) ). Since I was his #1 fan and "he wouldn't have won without me," he went and traded in one of the t-shirts for a small, so I could wear it : )

Intramural Soccer

Casey plays A LOT of intramural sports (14 intramural seasons, playing coed soccer, men's soccer, 7-on-7 football, 9-on-9 football, ultimate frisbee and badminton), and this semester was no different. Here is his coed soccer team picture after they had an undefeated season and won the coveted Intramural Champion t-shirt. When you win, the intramural officials even give a speech about how special you are and how proud you should be : ) Casey's team was also the #1 seed in Division 1 (out of 3 Divisions and 120 teams), so they were really good, but they wouldn't have been as good without the best goalie ever : )

Easter

We had a fantabulous Easter at my parents. Charity came and spent the night with us, and Josh Dalton came up for church and dinner. We had tons of fun dying Easter eggs for place settings (especially Casey). Josh and Casey hid Jaren and Jonas' Easter eggs really hard, so it was entertaining to watch them look, but I felt bad and helped out a bit : ) My mom planned a great dinner and it was delicious, and Charity and I enjoyed helping her cook. Then we played a really fun Easter trivia game that my mom made up, and we were all rewarded with Easter treats (you can tell who did the best based on size : ))

Proud Aunt and Uncle

I wanted to post pictures of our adorable nieces and nephews since they are so cute and we love to brag about them. The first picture is of Garth and Janelle's kids Garin, Shelby, Ethan, Trevon, Starlee, and Ryden, then is Nate and Misty's baby girl Adalei, and finally is Jocelyn and Jason's little boy Jon. We are always talking about them and miss them like crazy.

March Madness

This month was March Madness, and let me tell you, there was a whole lot of madness. Most of our brackets were shot after the elite eight, but Casey and I still had a lot of fun running it all. We did it with 18 of our friends (some were even in other states) just for fun and Casey scratches out the losers, I highlight the winners, and Casey sends out an e-mail posting all the scores for the day. Casey would want me to note that he was the winner this year. He takes great pride in that : )

Jenna's Birthday

My birthday was this last month and I had a blast. Casey had a great day planned out for me. It started with me opening presents in my "birthday corner," breakfast, shopping (where I got the cutest pair of shoes), bowling, we tried a new Mexican restaurant for dinner, the last basketball game of the season (President Monson was there too), and Leatherby's to top it off. I also really appreciated all the calls to make me feel special : )
