Beach Boys Concert

This last Friday we went to a Beach Boys Concert with Casey's mom. Casey and I felt like the youngest people there, but that is probably because we were. All of the older people reliving their younger days, and they were dancing and singing and it was fun to watch.

The opening act - The Beatniks
Hanging out for an hour until the Beach Boys came on

The Beach Boys (well a few of them, Brian Wilson is still the lead singer, but most of the others aren't the original members of the band)
Dancing to "Little Surfer Girl"Uncle Jesse! John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse in Full House, was there and played the drums for a little while.

Farmer's Market/Saturday's Market

One Saturday we went to the Farmer's Market and Saturday's Market with Casey's mom and had so much fun. There were so many things we wanted to buy, and we ended up buying some veggies, berries, bread, and chevre cheese spread. We definately want to go back because it is so much fun to walk around and see all the food and the people.

This was my favorite stand to walk by. It smelled so good.

We Love Downtown Portland

Weekends are our time to explore Portland/Vancouver and we have definately been filling up our weekends with fun things to do. Casey had a day off work, so we did a little shopping and checked out the Blues Festival and a few things Casey wanted to show me downtown before we met up with everyone for dinner.

Hiking Eagle Creek

Nate and Misty invited me to go on a hike with them one day and I thought it sounded fun so I agreed. We ended up going on a 14 mile round trip hike through Eagle Creek, but it was worth it. I couldn't stop taking pictures because everything was so beautiful. These are my favorites.

Some of the creatures we ran into on the hike

Punchbowl Falls

Getting ready to go after a break

This was my favorite wild flower we saw. It just looked so exotic.

A red leaf all by its lonesome
Adalei was smiling all the time. She loved being outside.

At times the path was really rocky
This picture looks like it is the path in front of us, but it actually me taking a picture up the mountainside.

These rocks were naturally concave and convex
Tunnel Falls
It was soo tall I could only take pictures of it in pieces.

Criss-Cross Falls

And we're done!
