Portland, Here We Come!

Well, we're not in Provo anymore. We made the move to Portland on June 14th for Casey's accounting internship with KPMG. We are actually living in Vancouver, WA with Casey's mom (Vancouver is right across the river from Portland) and we are already enjoying being in a new place. These are pictures of our drive up to Portland.

When Casey and I travel, we like to play the music game where you turn to a random radiostation and see who can guess who sings the song first. This is Casey singing along.

Say hello to my little friend : ) We borrowed a carpet cleaner from my parents and since the entire back seat and trunk of the car was filled with our stuff for the move, I had to share the front seat with it until we got to their house. This is a view from the house that my parents are building in Farmington, UT. They can see The Great Salt Lake from their house and Antelope Island.
Say Cheese!
Pictures along the way

Funny story. Casey kind of has bad luck when it comes to bathrooms (for those of you that were there for his Christmas Break incidence you would know), and his luck hasn't gotten any better : ) This happened as soon as we got to Casey's mom's house.

Casey's 24th Birthday

I had the whole day planned out for Casey's birthday and everything didn't go exactly as planned, but it was a great day! He played X-box, opened his presents, had breakfast, played wiffle ball and frisbee with our friends, had dinner at Tucano's, Surprised Casey with a party, then hung out, played games, and watched a movie. Thanks to everyone that called and came to his party : )

Halo on the X-box until 3:30 am. We also played a little Dance, Dance, Revolution : )
I woke Casey up at 7:00 to go get all you can eat french toast at Kneader's, but he opted to sleep in, so we had Cocoa Crunchies.
This was the bag that our friends put Casey's Official Ultimate Frisbee in. I thought the tag was pretty creative : )
Casey opening his new "official" wiffle ball bat and ten brand new balls.

SURPRISE!
Happy Birthday dear Casey...Happy Birthday to you!
German Sweet Chocolate Pie (one of Casey's favorites).
Fun 'n Games
Since we didn't go to breakfast the morning of his birthday, we made up for it the next Saturday. There was also a little bet going that Casey couldn't eat 4 plates of the delicious french toast, and unfortunately, he lost : ( The piece of paper that Casey is holding says his name and "2 and one bite" because that is all he could eat that day. He doesn't like to lose, so I'm sure we'll go back : )

Once we got to Portland, Casey's mom had some more waiting for him, including a book and some of his favorite kinds of shirts, Tommy Hilfiger.

Ultimate Frisbee

As soon as football and soccer had ended, it was time for ultimate frisbee. The season didn't end with the intramural champion shirt, but they still had fun and are all geared up for the football season come fall semester : )
Here we go!

The fans (and a few players) : )

We want you! (Halftime pep talk)

Thier first win of the season And of course the shirt is about to come off : )

Ladykiller in the Making

While we were in Sacramento, we stayed with our good friends Jason and Melody, and Casey had a blast playing with their cute as can be son Dallin. We stayed at their place the entire trip which was very nice of them, so Casey had plenty of time to play with his new little friend. We all agreed that he is going to have a hard time keeping the ladies at bay when he gets older : )

It's Raining, It's Pouring

This is Casey, Josh Dalton, Josh's friend Meg, and me at the Real Salt Lake soccer game. We thought we were going to be able to tough it out, so we decided to still go, but we ended up leaving at halftime since it was so cold. Next time we'll have to remember to check the weather : )

Work it, baby, Work it!

Whenever Casey gets near Jason's fancy camera, he is sure to play with it. This is his latest one man photo shoot. I think he has promise : )
